Description
English: Heavy fog covers the flight line as a Navy Fighter Weapons School Douglas A-4E Skyhawk adversary aircraft is prepared for an early morning mission at Naval Air Station Miramar, California (USA), on 15 August 1982. Referred to as "Top Gun," the school provided air combat maneuvering (ACM) training for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps pilots. The A-4 was painted in a Soviet-bloc air force camouflage pattern.
