Description
English: U.S. Army Capt. Quenton Benjamin, left, a logistics officer, and Spc. Simone Des Islets, a power generation equipment repairer, both assigned to the 1st Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, stand back after offloading a cargo bundle from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter during a low-cost, low-altitude (LCLA) aerial resupply mission at Fort Hood, Texas, July 17, 2013. The purpose of LCLA was to expediently resupply troops on the ground when other methods endanger Soldiers’ lives, not feasible or too costly.
