Description
English: U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Paul J. LaCamera salutes Sgt. 1st Class Edward B. Hintz after awarding Hintz the Purple Heart during a ceremony at Joint Security Station Loyalty, Iraq, Aug. 1, 2011. During the ceremony, six Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment (1-7 FAR), 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division-Center (USD-C) received Purple Heart medals. LaCamera is the deputy commanding general-operations with the 25th Infantry Division and USD-C. Hintz is a human resources noncommissioned officer in charge with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1-7 FAR.
