Summary[edit]

Description

Tyee Recreation Site has 15 non-reservable campsites and is located on the main stem of the Umpqua River. In the winter, just the eastern half of the campground remains open. In summer, the entire campground is open for use. A day-use picnic area and 75 person pavilion offer an exceptional setting for small group activities. Easy access to the river allows for fishing and water play opportunities. Horseshoe pits are also located on site. Note that the pavilion area grass may not be as green in later summer as compared to the springtime.

  • Reservations are required for groups of over 25 people to use the pavilion. To reserve the pavilion up to a year in advance, call 1-877-444-6777 or visit <a href="http://www.recreation.gov" rel="nofollow">www.recreation.gov</a>. Dogs are allowed on a 6 foot leash in the campground and day use area. Firewood is available for $6/bucket and is located near the host site. All campsites except site #1, restrooms, spigots, and paved paths are disabled accessible.
