Description
English: The building on Lubyanka Square (here, a side alley view) is, as of 2020, managed by St. Regis hotel chain. However, when the building was inaugurated in 2013, it was briefly managed by Kempinski (hence their corporate sign at the entrance). "Historical" facade contains some remains of the historical buildings dating back to 1900-1907; the rest is a 2010s job.
Русский: Малый Черкасский переулок. В основе современной постройки, занимающей весь квартал вдоль Лубянской площади - исторические здания бывшего Калязинского подворья и доходного дома Орлова-Давыдова, 1900-х годов. Осталось от них, впрочем, немного. Как не было долгим и пребывание здания под крылом сети Kempinski (см. вывеску). В том же 2014 году Kempinski ушли, и здание пошло по рукам; в 2020 году Яндекс показывает на этом месте вывеску St. Regis.
