Description
Deutsch: Tutzing, Marienstraße 12, Brahms-Pavillon. Heinrich und Therese Vogl, beide königliche Kammersänger in München, ließen sich 1871 diesen achteckigen spätklassizistischen Pavillon am Ufer des Starnberger Sees erbauen. 1873 war der Komponist Johannes Brahms bei ihnen zu Gast, der sich – nach seinen eigenen Worten – an dem zauberhaften Blick über den See nicht "sattsehen" konnte. In diesen Monaten entstanden hier seine Haydn-Variationen op. 56a, die Streichquartette op. 51 sowie seine "Acht Lieder und Gesänge" op. 59.[1]
