Summary[edit]
DescriptionTunnelsegment till Citybanan under bogsering till Stockholm.JPG |
English: Steel element number three of three of the concrete-lined immersed tube railway tunnel that will go under Lake Mälaren in Stockholm City for the Citybanan (Stockholm City Line) project, being towed on lake Mälaren on the outskirts of Stockholm (Björnholmen Island in the background). The element, manufactured in Tallinn, has undergone phase one of two faces of concrete moulding outside Södertälje and will undergo phase two of that work in Stockholm City. In front is the tugboat Freja, pushing behind is the tugboat Tug and in front of the tunnel element in the picture is the escorting boat Sub Sea. The tunnel element measures 80 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 10 meters tall.
