Summary[edit]

Description
English:
Tulip House. Former Officiers Casino, but both words misleading, in fact it was a cultural venue for the officials (mid ranking employees) of the Mining Company. Built in 1924 (or around) in Hungarian Art Nouveau style, planned by Ede Toroczkai Wigand, invested by Hungarian State Coal Mine Co. Opposite this, built a similar purpöse building for workers/miners the so-called People House, now Jászai Theater. - 7 Népház Street, Óváros neighborhood, Tatabánya, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary.
Magyar:
A MagyarÁllami/Általános Kőszénbánya Rt. beruházásaként Toroczkai Wigand Ede tervei alapján készült, magyaros szecessziós stílusban, az ablakok körül tulipános motívumokkal díszítve. Műemléki védelem azonosító: -10331, "'A Tulipános Ház turisztikai célú felújítása' projektazonosító: Top 6.1.4.-15-TB1-2016-00002 1,436 milliárd forint támogatással" tábla van az épület előtt - Komárom-Esztergom megye, Tatabánya, Óváros (korábban: I. kerület: Bányaváros, ill.
