Description

A photo of the official Truffle market in Carpentras town on Market Day. The truffle vendors set up on little tables with their truffles in front of them, and a little weighing scales beside. Each truffle vendor must have a license. Out of shot, behind and to the right, is a cafe where the vendors chat over a drink.

This shot shows a vendor on the right with a small pile of truffles. The basket directly in front contains the truffles on offer. The weighing scales are beside the vendors right hand.
