Deutsch: Vergleich der NO2-Belastung in Europa zwischen März/April 2019 und 2020
Auch die Benelux-Länder, Westdeutschland, Norditalien, das südliche Großbritannien, sowie Hotspots wie die Poebene, Madrid, Paris, Mailand und Rom zeigen im Vergleich zum Vorjahr einen Rückgang des troposphärischen NO2 um mehr als 40 Prozent. Die angesprochenen, wetterbedingten Schwankungen wurden durch die Bildung von Monatsmitteln reduziert. Gemittelt wurde hier über den Zeitraum 16.03 – 15.04. Eine Bereinigung des Wettereinflusses durch die im Text beschriebene Kombination aus langjährigen Satellitenbeobachtungen, In-situ-Messungen und Modellberechnungen erfolgte hier nicht.
