Nederlands: Nap. Deze kalebasschaal is vermoedelijk een offergave die de slaven op de plantage Clifford Kocqshoven, bij een grote kankantri-boom (Ceiba pentandra)hebben neergelegd. De schaal is met snijwerk van concentrisch cirkels en een vogel versierd. De kankantri was een heilige boom voor de slaven en de marrons. Aan de geesten van die bomen werden offers gegeven. De plantage-eigenaar Van Breugel verhaalt in zijn 'Dagverhaal eener reis naar Suriname' dat ook de slaven van zijn plantages schaamschorten en kalebassen met voedsel als offergaven onder die boom legden. Van Breugel heeft zulke offergaven meegenomen naar Nederland. Op zijn collectielijst vinden we de twee objecten terug, die overeenkomen met de beschrijvingen van de offergaven in zijn 'Dagverhaal'. Daarom vermoedt Legêne dat juist in deze kalebasschaal voedsel is geofferd aan de geesten van de kankantri-boom.
Het object is een van twee kalebassen (H-2552 & H-2553) die met de kleine Suriname-collectie van Van Breugel opgenomen in het Koloniaal Museum. Hier werd het gescheiden van de documentatie en werd het een object, waar men niet meer van wist, waar het voor diende. Beide kalebassen werden toegeschreven aan de Marrons. Legêne wijst erop dat na de emancipatie van de slaven in 1871 in de volkenkundige collecties '… iedere relatie met slavernij verdween van objecten uit de slavernijcultuur zelf' (1998, p.386-387). Voor Legêne en Price zijn die kalebassen en de twee obia's van de plantage (H-2965 & H-2966, beide collectie in het Tropenmuseum) tevens een indicatie, dat de culturen van de plantageslaven en de marrons aan het begin van de 19de eeuw dicht bij elkaar lagen.
