English: Tri-centre, Fleming Way, Swindon The Tri-centre was built in the 1980s by Zurich Insurance. They and their related companies such as Threadneedle occupy this and other buildings in the locality. Zurich and other players in the finance sector such as Nationwide have helped transform the town and its fortunes. Taken together with big, successful manufacturers such as BMW and Honda, their presence means that Swindon has a strong, low-unemployment economy. |
