English: Tree Wall The roots of several of the trees on this byway in Hurst Wood, have been exposed to to the air, due to the erosion of the earthen byway on the left.
As the byway has been subject to natural erosion and the level has sunk over many years, and the soil has been carried downhill away from trees and the byway. several rocks (from the natural ground) have been trapped in the roots making a rock and root wall. |
