Natures deposit of lime is ofdazzling whiteness, sulphur has given its clearestyellow, the oxidation of iron ts deepest tints ofred shading into scarlet and orange, while mossesand tall pines have added vivid green. Such aroyal display of colors is seen elsewhere only in thesunsets. We turn to see the Great Falls, grand in its lifeand action. The foaming cauldron below is flankedby painted cliffs 800 feet high.
