With theexception of about twelve hours in all, it has rained continu-ously from the night of the 10th until now. At 4 p.m. mistscleared away a little, and at 5 we saw Sara-urcu. Got itsbearing and sketched it.2 In a few minutes the mountain wasinvisible again. Arranged for a forced march to-morrow. All the reeds round about our platform at the base of thecliff had been cut or beaten down, so that the view should notbe impeded.
