Summary[edit]
| Description | Traction motors. These shelves contain the traction motors used on the modern D stock. They have certainly got a lot smaller over the years - in the 1927 locomotive (the interior and exterior of which I have also pictured) the motor is huge and actually shares the cabin with the driver, making it very cramped and dark inside! |
