Português: Placa informativa da Torre de Petróleo Engenheiro Ângelo Balloni, Águas de São Pedro, Brasil.

Ela diz:
Torre de Petróleo Eng. Ângelo Balloni
No ano de 1921 o Serviço Geológico e Mineralógico do Brasil (SMGB) iniciou nestas terras as primeiras prospecções em busca do chamado ouro negro.
Das perfurações não brotou o petróleo, mas surgiram águas abundantes em qualidade e tão ricas em elementos minerais que se transformariam en verdadeiras fontes de saúde e de vida para o homem.
A Torre Ângelo Balloni é a única sonda remanescesnte do petróleo na região durante a década de 20. Permanece até hoje em seu local de origem, como marco histórico em Águas de São Pedro.

Engineer Ângelo Balloni Oil Derrick
In the year of 1921, the Geological and Mineralogical Service of Brazil (SMGB) begun in this land the first prospections trying to find crude oil.
In the boreholes the oil didn't sprout, but appeared abundant quality water that was so rich in mineral elements that it would be transformed in real sources of heatlh and life to humans.
Ângelo Balloni Tower is the last remaining oil probe in the region during the '20 decade. It remains to date in its place of origin, as a monument in Águas de São Pedro.
