Summary[edit]

Description
English: Torness. Quote from the booklet "Lost Townships, Silent Voices" published by Argyll & Bute Council: "Torness is the ruin of a shepherd's cottage and byre. The byre below the A849 has a holding park and a simple fank attached. Torness as an area was a pendicle of Kilpatrick and can traced back to the 1700s."
