Summary[edit]

Description
English: Top of the Smugglers Path at White Nothe The so-called "Smugglers Path" (in shadow) reaches the top of the White Nothe headland here, close to the WWII lookout post. The small 'tombstone' is a Coast Path marker that on the other side reads "SMUGGLERS PATH TO WHITE NOTHE UNDERCLIFF. STEEP HAZARDOUS ROUTE". Presumably this is to ensure that anyone wanting to make the descent starts off in the right place (rather than plunging off the cliffs).
