The founder of "animal magnetism" (i.e. mesmerism) Franz Anton Mesmer (born 23 May 1734 in Iznang/Lake of Constance) died on the 5th of March 1815 in Meersburg (Lake of Constance) and was buried here.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: I produced this photograph exactly on the 200th aniversary of Mesmer's death: March 15, 2015. The flowers (left side) were donated by the community of Meersburg; three roses in front of the monument wer laid down by myself.
