中文（繁體）：1941年11月4日《大公報》報導軍方招募香港華人軍團的首批50名士兵，昨日在威靈頓軍營開始招聘程序，需要滿足體格條件，還要通過口試，首輪入選者後仍然要經過次輪挑選，不過昨日上午9時20分開始面試時的反應甚爲踴躍，當局計劃在首批50人完成訓練及取得良好成績後，再增聘150人，警訊連後編成一對，再每次增招募150人，期望可組成一支華人機關槍團。
