Notes "...one of the few undisputed works of this type by Titian that can be precisely dated... It is doubtful whether the marginalia were drawn by Titian. At least both the awkward parallel hatching with a new start on the right and dot closure, which start at the beam of the first sketch and enclose the initial »E«, as well as the calculation notes at the top left seem to come from another hand"
