English: Tim Wintenburg, a Vietnam War veteran who served with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade [Separate], 101st Airborne Division, in a photo near his residence, Aug 17, 2017, in Indiana. Wintenburg, along with Dallas Brown, Watson Baldwin, and Jay Cope, is one of the Soldiers pictured in the famous Vietnam War photograph “Help from Above” by Art Greenspon. When the photo was taken, Wintenburg was glancing back at the camera with his helmet off while carrying a wounded comrade. (Courtesy Photo) |
