| Description |
English: Thuli and her younger sister Nanda are harvesting wheat in the traditional Tamang way. The ripe heads are being cut individually from the stem and put in a basket. The heads are later dried and threshed with a stick.
Photo: Fritz Berger, Dandapakhar, Nepal Deutsch: Nach Tamang-Art erntet Thuli mit ihrer jüngeren Schwester Nanda Weizen. Die reiferen Ähren werden einzeln mit Sichel vom Halm getrennt und in einen Korb gelegt. Zuhause werden die Ähren nachgetrocknet und mit einem Flegel gedroschen.
