Mann, Thomas: Bruder Hitler. [Pamphlet].


In: Das Neue Tage-Buch 25. März 1939, Jg.7, H.13, S. 306 - 309. Potempa G 687.3. - Thomas Mann wollte mit dieser merkwürdigen Apostrophierung der Welt zeigen, dass es sich bei Hitler um einen Künstler handelt, einen gescheiterten und verkommenen Künstler, der mangels Kreativität zum Verbrecher wurde. U. a. bescheinigt ihm Thomas Mann einen Mangel an Virilität ("der auch rein technisch und physisch nichts kann, was Männer können, kein Pferd reiten, kein Automobil oder Flugzeug lenken") und vermutet Impotenz ("nicht einmal ein Kind zeugen").
