Thejudgment of the physician should observe and attend to anyexisting conditions which prevent sleep and call for specialtreatment either medical, surgical, electrical, or hygienic. Di-gestion and nutrition very often demand attention. In manycases other resources of static electricity may be added to gen-eral electrification, but the indications for their use will befound in local conditions accompanying the insomnia, and eachpatient must be treated in accordance with the state presented.
