| Description | We visited Winner Gorge on a lovely September day in 2009; Fall was in the air. Winner Gorge is more of a stroll than a hike - it's only about two miles each way. The trail goes through some nice old growth forest very similar to the Pacific Northwest. The gorge itself is pretty small but very impressive. If you are anywhere near Girdwood, pop in and check it out! |
