Deutsch: Eine frostsichere Balltränke bzw. Kugeltränke für Rinder oder Pferde (Modell Thermolac 40 des französischen Herstellers La Buvette), hier mit offenbar abgeschalteter Wasserzufuhr. – Bei aktiver Wasserzufuhr verschließt der gelbe Ball die Tränke, so dass das Wasserbecken nicht sichtbar ist. Der Ball ragt dann oben etwas über die braune Behälteroberfläche heraus und schließt bündig mit dem Rand des Loches ab. Die Tiere drücken mit ihrem Maul den als Schwimmerventil fungierenden Ball herunter und können sofort trinken; die entnommene Wassermenge strömt umgehend ins Tränkebecken nach. Die Tränke arbeitet rein mechanisch ohne Stromanschluss. Das doppelwandig-isolierte Tränkegehäuse sorgt auch bei Minusgraden für etwa dem Grundwasser entsprechende Wassertemperaturen (sofern die Tränke regelmäßig benutzt und dadurch das Wasser im Behälter erneuert wird). |
