Summary[edit]

Description
English: The west front of Portsmouth Cathedral The Cathedral Church of St Thomas of Canterbury, Portsmouth (to give Portsmouth Cathedral its full name) became a parish church in the 14th century, and a cathedral in 1927. The west wall, however, was not completed until the late 1980s. The two seagulls, one on the top of each of the west towers, look like part of the architecture from a distance.
