Itis \-ery evident that the traxeling public will notcheerfully patronize an inferior or an irregular car ser-\ice; and inasmuch as the Companys dividends are de-pendent upon such liberal patronage, it behooves it toe.xercise every means in its power to cater to the wantsand tastes of its patrons. I low to run the cars on even iiUer\als of tinii is one of electric and thirteen miles of rable tracks, consistingof si.xteen distinct routes, nine of which terminate at aloop in the central business portion of the city. The cars are all operatedby a dispatcher at the central station C, b\- means oftwelve telephones on four separate circuits. Circuit number i comprises telephones A, 1>, D and E.
