High-speed churns for quick churninghave been introduced in several varieties,some of which have fallen behind in therace for supremacy, and apparently haveleft the course to the rest. For churn-ing small quantities of cream daily tosupply a family with butter from home-produced milk, these quick-acting churnsare most of all convenient. BradfordsFishback churn was one of the veryearliest of this type of churn, as it isnow perhaps the best known of themall. A new variety, called Garbutts Two-minute churn, is more recent in evolu-tion, but has already won a good namefor itself. This churn, like BradfordsColonial Diaphragm, is octagonal inshape, and its line of axis is from endto end and horizontal.
