Summary[edit]

Description

3D printed replica of the London City Orchestra, at the Music Instrument Museum.

This one-of-a-kind model represents the sights and sounds of a modern symphony orchestra.[1]

Orchestral music is woven into the sound track
of daily life. almost everyone has heard an
orchestra in film, television, radio, or even
video games. But not everyone has attended
a live orchestral performance and enjoyed its
dynamic visual elements. With this model,
we illustrate the expansive size and a typical
seating configuration of a large symphony
orchestra, as well as the numbers and
varieties of instruments involved.

while studying the musicians and instruments
in this model, listen as out young narrator
guides you through the orchestra. Enjoy audio
examples of each instrument and watch out
stage light up at each selection––all combined
to create a multisensory orchestral experience.
