| Description | A closer view of a bottle of snake whisky with a cobra and a scorpion inside. The fact that the snake inside will give you strength and virility is probably more of an old wives' tale a a myth, but the locals are sometimes known to use a rat snake instead of a cobra, spreading it's bones behind the head before bottling it, and passing it off as a cobra. The locals were not willing to let us have a shot of it, and insisted on selling the whole bottle. No one was buying due to the repulsive prospect of carrying a dead snake around dipped in alcohol! At any rate, I don't suppose the customs authorities in most countries would allow it. The orange colour is simply the colour of the bottle. Laolao is totally clear and transparent, like vodka.
