The forest temple on the road to Trebeni - Harnatanar, India, ca. 1906
Tinted lantern slide showing an ancient forest temple on the road to Trebeni (now known as Tribeni, West Bengal) from Harnatanar (Harnatar, in Siwan district, Bihar.) Several men in traditional dress gather outside the temple. This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
