English: The flood wall, looking north. Looking towards Fleetwood on the other bank of the River Wyre. The flood wall protects farmland adjacent to the river. The wooden frame on the wall [centre right] displays a diamond shaped marker, visible from the river, indicating where electric cables go under the water. Presumably there is a corresponding mark on the other bank. |
