| Description |
English: The first ferry for 4 days at Gott Bay pier The previous day when watched the ferry appear do three pirouettes and sail off back to Oban. For some people it was the fourth day running that they had waited for the ferry. The winds had been very strong blowing off the pier, and the seas rough. The shops had run out of bread and fresh milk so a diet of whisky and cake was order of the day! As far as I remember the MV Clansman had tried Thursday and Friday, MV Isle of Arran on Saturday, and the MV Isle of Mull succeeded on the Sunday. |
