| Description |
English: The end of Hedon Haven, south of Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Similar to a previous photograph, but taken under different lighting conditions. This is actually a colour photograph, but in this lighting is almost monochromatic! The strange wooden structures denote the position of the navigable channel at higher tides. Very few vessels negotiate this waterway as it's only navigable for a few hundred metres further behind the photographer's position. Saltend Jetty and the 3Km wide River Humber can be seen in the background. |
