English: The crossing of Holes Beck Left of the footbridge are a small table and chair with a memorial stone close by. The plaque reads: "Herbert Edward Walker 1919 - 2000. A place to sit and rest a while and for us to remember a fun loving and caring Dad and Grandad." The banks of Holes Beck beyond have been planted with native trees by the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust http://www.ydmt.org/page.php?page=projects_more_info&id=233 |
