The area is80.93 sq. miles and the population 2,000,848.North and east of Brookljm is the BOR-OUGH OF QUEENS, consisting of theformer Long Island City and a number ofold villages. The area is 117.36 sq. milesand the population 376,089. The BOR-OUGH OF RICHMOND consists ofStatep Island, with an area of 57.18 sq.miles and population of 97,870. Here in 1850 JennyLind, the Swedish singer, made her Ameri-can debut, under the management of P. T.Barnum. The Prince of Wales and LouisKossuth arrived here.
