Summary[edit]

Description
English: The centre of Ireland? Athlone is considered to be the town closest to the centre of Ireland, or the ancient site of Clonmacnoise a few miles to the south. But this website http://www.wesleyjohnston.com/users/ireland/geography/extremities.html says it is 3km south of Athlone town centre, on the Roscommon side of the Shannon, which puts it about here. A typical Irish derelict cottage seems appropriate.
