Because the cry ofSodom and Gomorrah is great, and becausetheir sin is very grievous; 21 I will go down now, and see whetherthey have done altogether according to thecry of it, which is come unto me; and if not,I will know. 22 And the men turned their faces fromthence, and went toward Sodom: but Abra-ham stood yet before the Lord. 23 IT And Abraham drew near, and said,Wilt thou also destroy the righteous withthe wicked ? 24 Perad venture there be fifty righteouswithin the city: wilt thou also destroy andnot spare the place for the fifty righteousthat are therein 1 25 That be far from thee to do after thismanner, to slay the righteous with the wicked:and that the righteous should be as the 21 .^^2^
