Thus they did day byday, and gathered money in abundance. 12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it tosuch as did the work of the service of thehouse of the Lord, and hired masons andcarpenters to repair the house of the Lokd,.and also such as wrought iron and brass tomend the house of the Lord. 13 8o the workmen wrought, and the workwas perfected by them, and they set the house•of God in his state, and strengthened it. 14 And when they had finished it, theybrought the rest of the money before theking and Jehoiada, whereof were madevessels for the house of the Lord, evenvessels to minister, and to offer withal, andspoons, and vessels of gold and silver. Andthey offered burnt-offerings in the house of theLord continually all the days of Jehoiada. 540 15 1 But Jehoi-ada waxed old,and was full ofdays
