ted alive beforethe Lord, to make an atonement with him,and to let him go for a scajje-goat into thewilderness. 11 TT And Aaron shall bring the bullock ofthe sin-offering, which is for himself, andshall make an atonement for himself, andfor his house, and shall kill the bullock ofthe sin-offering which is for himself : 12 And he shall take a censer full of blood as he did with the blood of the bullock,and sprinkle it u))on the mercy-seat, and be-fore the mercy-seat: 16 And he shall make an atonement for theh<Aj place^ because of the uncleanness of thechildren of Israel, and because of their trans-gressions in all their sins: and so shall hedo for the taljernacle of the congregation,that remaineth among them in the midst oftheir uncleanness. 17 And there shall be no man in the taber-nacle of the congregation when he goeth into make an atonement in the holy place.,until he come out, and have made an atone-ment for himself, and for his household, andfor all the congregation of Israel.

IN THE WILDERNESS OF SINAI, WADY MOKATEB. burning coals of fire from off the altar be-fore the Lord, and his hands full of sweetincense beaten small, and bring it withinthe vail: 13 And.he shall put the incense upon thefire before the Lord, that the cloud of theincense may cover the mercy-seat that isupon the testimony, that he die not: 14 And he shall take of the blood of thebullock, and sprinkle it with his finger uponthe mercy-seat eastward; and before themercy-seat shall he sprinkle of the bloodwith his finger seven times. 15 IT Then shall he kill the goat of the sin-offering, that is for the people, and bringhis blood within the vail, and do with that 18 And he shall go out unto the altar thatis before the Lord, and make an atonementfor it; and shall take of the blood of thebullock, and of the blood of the goat, andput it upon the horns of the altar roundabout. 19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood uponit with his finger seven times, and cleanseit, and hallow it from the uncleann
