Becausethey have taken away my Lord, and I knownot where they have laid him. 14 And when she had thus said, she turnedherself back, and saw Jesus standing, andknew not that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus saith unto her. Woman, why weep-est thou 1 whom seekest thou 1 She, suppos-ing him to be the gardener, saith unto him.Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell mewhere thou hast laid him, and I will takehim away. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turnedherself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; whichis to say, Master. 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; forI am not yet ascended to my Father : but goto my brethren, and say unto them, I ascendunto my Father, and your Father; and tomy God, and your God. 18 Maiy Magdalene came and told the dis-ciples that she had seen the Lord, and thathe had spoken these things unto her.
