About kings and avoiding strife. but the honour of kings is tosearch out a matter. 3 The heaven for height, and theearth for depth, and the heart ofkings is unsearchable. 4 Take away the dross from thesilver, and there shall come fortha vessel for the finer.

The honour of kings is to search outa matter.—Prov. xxv. 2. without cause; and deceive not with thylips. 29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hathdone to me: I will render to the man accord-ing to his work. 30 I went by the field of the slothful, andby the vineyard of the man void of under-standing ; 31 And, lo, it was all grown over withthorns, and nettles had covered the facethereof, and the stone wall thereof was brokendown. 32 Then I saw, and considered it well: Ilooked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a littlefolding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come as one thattravelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
