DanieB Millspaugh Wade. DANIEL MILLSPAUGH WADE was born at Montgomery, N. Y., December 16, 1832. The boyhood days ofMr. Wade were passed in Montgomery. Early in life he learned the tinsmiths trade and soon establisheda business of his own, continuing it until August, 1891, making thirty-nine years of continuous business in thesame locality. On the 26th of March, 1856, a wedding ceremony was performed which united the destines ofMr. Wade and Miss Charlotte C. David, a daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Constable) David. Mr. Wade wasalways an active worker in the Presbyterian Church, in which he served as elder for fifteen years. He wasmost earnest in his support of all work tending to improve and elevate the kindred interests of his town andcounty. In early life he was a Democrat; later he gave his allegiance to the Prohibition party. For three yearshe represented his town as supervisor, also served as a member of the School Board, of which he was presidentfor some years. Mr. Wade was a
