The "Lightner Girls and Newton Alexander" (usually the "Lightner Sisters and Newton Alexander"): vaudeville actresses Winnie Lightner (neé Reeves) and Theodora Lightner, the "Lightner Sisters". Winnie Lightner later went on to Broadway theatre and to a moderately successful career in films. Newton Alexander and Theodora Lightner had been longtime vaudeville partners when the much younger (and not actually related) Winnie became part of their act for several years. |
