Photo of Dr./Mrs. W.S. Griswold, a physician as well as "president of the King County Co-operative Committee, whose work it is to meet, welcome, and Americanize the emigrants from other lands…[,] member of the executive board of the Anti-Tubercular League, chairman of the publicity committee for the State Federation of Women's Clubs, chartter member and recording secretary of the Good Government League, member of the Century Club, … chairman of the Membership Committee of the Drama League…[, and] chairman of publicity for the local branch of the National League for Women's Service[.]" She was also later president of the Washington State Women's Golf Association and the Washington League of Women Voters.
