Page 4 article "The Duties of Women" discuss women's roles in the war effort. Page 6 article "What Women are Doing" discusses the topic further. Page 4 article "The Trial of Tracy" discusses the Everett Massacre trial.

This building was at about 155th Street NE on what is now NE Bothell Way, one of the original roadhouses on the Seattle-Bothell route. It featured Southern-style food, and was also a place people went dancing. This part of Lake Forest Park is still known as "Briarcrest".
