Page 7 article "The Campus and the War" discusses the war's impact on the University of Washington community. Page 15 article "Lake Washington's New Beach Line" discusses the impact of the Lake Washington Ship Canal on the lake's shorelines.


The Seattle Fine Arts Society (1906-1928), later Art Institute of Seattle (1929-1933), were precursors to the Seattle Art Museum. This shows a room in the Exhibition Building at 1213 Fourth Avenue, Seattle (southwest corner of Third and University); the building was torn down in 1927.
